Sleep specialisations: Infants, toddlers, twins.

Hi I'm Milana!

I’ve been working as a certified sleep consultant since 2021 and have helped more than 50 families with children aged from 0 to 3 years, including twins, to get their children to sleep through the night.
From my experience, I have seen many families struggle with:

  1. Frequent night awakenings where you need to attend to your baby by feeding, giving a pacifier, rocking or just holding your baby to sleep. Sometimes these awakenings can last for hours.
  2. Difficulties when and how to put baby to sleep. Every time you think of sleep you feel stressed, baby is fighting sleep and crying – and you don’t know how long they will take to fall asleep.
  3. No predictable schedule, you can not plan anything.
  4. Your baby needs help falling asleep (feeding, rocking, just your presence).
  5. Short naps (20-40 minutes). You always have to help the baby prolong the sleep and sometimes “guard the nap”.

In 2016 my life changed when my husband and I had twins – a boy and a girl.

It was very difficult, I felt all I was doing was feeding babies and changing diapers. Nights were tough, one of the babies had colic and had very little sleep in general. I remember getting up twenty five times to replace the pacifier or attend to one of the babies. After that, I decided something needed to be done about my twin’s sleep. When the twins were eight months old, I sleep trained them with a sleep consultant. From then on my life was divided – before and after sleep training. Later on, I had another daughter, and I already knew I needed to do something with her sleep from the very start. I read a lot about sleep, and eventually, I sleep-trained her when she was five months old. Finally, the whole family was sleeping well.

Once I sleep-trained my youngest daughter, I became very interested in babies routines, timetables, and general sleep. A lot of my friends asked me to help them with their children’s schedules. Then I decided to undergo training in the Family Sleep Institute USA programme (FSI) and become a certified sleep consultant. I left the corporate world, and with my medical background, I saw a way I could help all the parents and caregivers who were struggling with non-sleeping children.

Apart from being a graduate of the Pharmacy Institutes in Serbia and Russia, and a Californian MBA holder, I am a proud mum of three living in Dubai since 2007. In addition to the English language, I’m fluent in Serbian and Russian. Most of my experience is with Russian speaking families.

I can help you understand your child’s needs and capabilities. You will be able to teach your child to sleep independently and return the precious “you only time” to yourself. I’m here to help and support you on your child’s journey to become a great sleeper.
